Through community support, F.I.T. 4 LIFE allows aspiring athletes to train and compete in tournaments and championships at no cost to the athlete or the athlete's family. These athletes proudly represent the city and state where they reside with honor and dignity. Championship caliber athletes currently represent the states of Georgia and Texas. The Knights were the first team to ever represent the state of Georgia at the AAU Jr. Olympics (2008) and the Folkstyle World Championships (2009). The Knights produced a 2009 Folkstyle World Champion and Junior Olympic Bronze Medalist (Rodriquez Cade - Monroe, GA) and a 2009 Folkstyle World Championship Silver Medalist (Dante' Davis - Houston, TX). We are the only subordinate AAU athletic club to compete in the sport of wrestling in Georgia, and again this year (2010) we will represent the states of Georgia and Texas at championship competitions across the country. Below is our 2009 accomplishments and a complete list of the competitions that we intend to compete at this year: - 2009 AAU Folkstyle World Championships: April 9 - April 11 (Des Moines, IA) - Seven Medals Awarded! (1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze, 4 Copper)
- 2010 AAU Ironman Folkstyle World Championships: May 28 - May 30 (Omaha, NE)
- 2010 AAU Grand Nationals: June 9 - June 12 (Butte, MT)
- 2010 AAU Jr. Olympic Games (Bowling): July 30 - August 3 (Virginia Beach, VA)
You can support your athletes by contributing to the F.I.T. 4 LIFE Knights. Your donation to this 501(c)(3) athletic club is 100% tax deductible!
